Inspired by my favorite series of 2025, I created a poster encapsulating the essence of Severance, a sci-fi drama about employees who can’t remember their personal lives when at work, and vice versa. I played heavily into the imagery from the show, replicating the UX design used on the company computers as the team “refined macrodata”. I wanted the poster to look like a photo of a screen, so I created some glowy, electronic effects in photoshop. The type is bold, narrow, and intense, giving the viewer sensory overload, similar to how you feel watching the show. I added the main character, Mark, on the poster as if he was also stuck in the computer, part of the refinement process that is so integral to the show.
